A case has been registered with Malabar Hill Police Station and help from Crime Branch's Cyber Cell has also been sought .

It is not clear if an ATM was used to withdraw money or the confidential details of the credit card account were used.

The unidentified criminal has been booked under section 420 of IPC and other sections of Information and Technology Act. Police suspects foreign cyber criminals to be behind the theft.
