In an interview with a daily newspaper once, Bunty had revealed that his he used to shower Jyoti (his girlfriend) with expensive gifts, including a diamond set that the police said they let her keep because nobody had come to claim it. But she dumped him. He was miserable and cried often.


One of the major reasons why he did not quite the habit of burglary was beacause his girlfriend whom he loved passionately had left him. "If she had stuck to him, he would have quit stealing. He told me that. He loved her,” a close friend of Bunty said.

Bunty had a wild dream that he wanted to build a submarine after he got out of prison. His submarine would fly too, crisscrossing the skies—to London, America, Africa, everywhere.



Well...though his personal life revolves in mysterious box when he discards his own statement of having a girlfriend, but accepts that he had a Nepal wife.
