The assault victim revealed that Bharti never used to pick up the girl straight from the ashram. She used to ask them to come out on Gaushala road, and from there she used to pick them up in her vehicle.

Bharti has gone underground with his brother Narayan Sai, after Ahmedabad and Surat Police accepted FIRs from the two married sisters who alleged they were assaulted by both Asaram and Narayan.

Bharti and her mother Lakshmi's names feature prominently in the FIRs filed in Surat.
