Bharti never wanted to hit the fame which her father had gained but recently she decided to take over as a spiritual leader like her father. She then started organizing satsang for female followers.
 
Her mother Laxmidevi is suffering from diseases like blood pressure and cancer.

Asaram's camp claims that Bharti had "divine powers" since childhood, and took "deeksha" (became a disciple) at the age of 12. For the next 14 years, it is claimed she underwent training in yoga and meditation, and runs Nari Hi Narayani organisation, affiliated to Asaram's umbrella of religious outfits.
