From toxic substances like ephedrine and pseudoephedrine to synthetic drugs like Ice, Jagdish took training to make them, all from China and Vietnam.

Jagdish initiated his business from his house in Mohali. While making the dangerous synthetic drug Ice, the temperature at times reaches as high as 200 degree Celsius because of which an explosion took place at his home once.

Jagdish aspired to become an underworld don like Dawood Ibrahim but his dream came to an end in 2008 when the Narcotics Control Bureau caught him with 25kg of  Ice drug.

He was locked up inside Mumbai's Arthur Road jail. There he became successful in creating contacts with Dawood Ibrahim's special aide, Abu Salem. Due to his close relations that Jagdish developed with inmates inside the jail, he was able to avail many facilities inside the jail premises which usually are not allowed to for common prisoners. This included having permission to have outside food.
