New Delhi: With rapid increase in acid attack cases across the country, the Supreme Court's   decision banning  open sale of acid in the market came as a reliever.

But there is much more to be done in this regard.

The life of an acid attack victim becomes even more pitiful than a rape victim.

It is not just the physical pain that an acid attack victim goes through it is also the mental torture with which the victim has to deal all through her life with her disfigured body.

There have been some cases in which the victims fought all odds and rekindled their lives.

But sadly, there are also few of them who could not fight the brutality and succumbed to the injuries.
