She was allegedly strangled and cremated at their family's native village in Alwar in Rajasthan without her family informing the police.

Her parents haven't said anything regarding this but they have confessed the heinous crime they have committed.

Bhawna Yadav was  just 21. It had barely been a week that she was with Abhishek Seth, 24 a Punjabi boy from Delhi. Bhawna had married against her parent's wishes.

The couple already knew that Abhishek's parents would agree to their marriage and eventually they would make Bhawna's parents,who were against it,believe in their love too .  

It's not that Abhishek was a boy from a bad background or hadn't got a job to take care of  Bhawna's needs.  Abhishek is working with Rashtrapati Bhavan as a Computer Engineer (President's House) whereas Bhawna was a Venkateswara College student (a college of DU).
