The body was so charred that it was impossible to recognize the face. The body was later identified as Nitish's by a watch which Bharti had gifted him. Nitish had been hammered to death. He was beaten so badly that the digestive system of his body had fallen out.

Nitish was first battered to death with a hammer. Vikas and Vishal had then taken out diesel from their SUV and poured it on Nitish's body. The body was then set aflame. The hammer used to hit Nitish was hid in a nearby bush.
