``There was a sewer inside the bushes where the attackers tried pulling the victim. It was very much possible that the attackers were hidden there. But the constables did not carry a torch which made it impossible to see anything. I could see footwear of two attackers there'' said Surjit.
 
According to one  eyewitness account, the victim had bit one of the attackers on the hand which could have been used a big clue to get hold of the attackers.

Delhi Police Special Commissioner was contacted after the incident but there was no response on his part.
