The medical superintendent of RML, Dr. HK Kar said, according to rules, if a government employee has spent more than 48 hours in custody, he or she is  suspended. The termination procedure will now begin.

Jagriti was on leave on November 4 and she called up Dental HOD the next day and asked for extension of her leave for another 3-4 days. Jagriti was arrested on November 5.
