The house that was used by the assailants to keep Junko captive belonged to one of the boys who had his parents staying in the same house.

Junko begged for help from his parents but it was all in vain. The parents later revealed that they became mute witnesses to the cruelty going in the house only because they were afraid of the violent behavior of their son and feared that he might hurt them as well.

Almost a month after the abduction, Junko was hung from the ceiling by the boys and used as punching bag until her organs were damaged and she bled from her mouth. The cruelty resulted in failure of the functioning of her organs.
