On Wednesday, at  a press conference, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna said,  traces of the owners of properties held by Patanajali Trust are not known and they have turned out to be benami transactions.

He also ssaid, the  District Magistrate of Haridwar had received a complaint about purchase of land and its usage by Patanjali Trust.
