Thiruvananthapuram: Bunty Chor  has been shifted to the governmental mental hospital in Thiruvananthapuram's Oolampara on Tuesday following court orders.

He has been shifted to mental hospital after he made a submission in the court that he was experiencing mental issues and trauma, told an official. Also there were reports that he was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia.

However, a police team has been deployed outside the mental hospital following Bunty Chor's reported plans to escape the jail.
