A 12-year-old boy was critically injured after allegedly being hit by a bullet during a wedding procession in Rohini on Saturday. It was suspected celebratory firing, Police said.
Around 9 pm in Rithala, a boy, standing in the balcony of his third-floor house was watching the wedding procession that was passing by on the street outside.
Someone from the groom's side opened fire and a bullet hit the boy in his head, police said.
he was referred to a private hospital after he was rushed to Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital by his family members.
Police officials visited the spot and identified the suspect who fired the gun, he said.
The case has been registered by the police and efforts are on to nab the man.
