A newly born baby girl wrapped completely in a polythene bag was pulled out of a drain by some stray dogs in Kaithal district of Haryana this morning, police said. The dogs started yelping, which alerted the passers-by.
As per the doctors at Civil Hospital where the baby was being treated, the condition was serious. The newborn had injuries on her head.

The newborn has multiple injuries including an injury on her head and is currently undergoing treatment. Dr Dinesh Kansal, Principal Medical Ofiice assured full cooperation with the police.
The baby weighing 1.5 kg was brought to the hospital at 6 am by the police.
As per the police, analysis of the CCTV footage is being done to identify the woman.
Pradeep Kumar, a police officer who is handling the case stated that " we will take strict action against the person who has thrown the girl in the drainage."
