The Delhi Police has busted an interstate Irani Gang, accused of cheating people posing as police officers. Officers at the DBG Road police station have arrested recovered Rs 40,000 cash, two motorcycles used in crime incidents.
According to the police, two of the three accused persons -- Krishan and Ravi -- also used to work at the same hospital, but were replaced by Mukesh and Rakesh which resulted in enmity and the two hatched a conspiracy to attack Mukesh and Rakesh, the police said.

A 70-year-old man was shot dead by two unidentified bike-borne men outside his house in west Delhi's Vikaspuri. The deceased has been identified as Attam Singh, a resident of Vikaspuri. Singh was rushed to the Sehgal Hospital on Outer Ring Road, where he was declared brought dead.
