Two Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) personnel died, and two others, including the driver, were injured after their vehicle overturned during a camp shift in Balrampur district on Wednesday. The incident occurred late in the evening between Samari and Bhutahi in the Naxal-affected area under Samari police station.

The CAF pickup vehicle lost control and overturned, leading to the fatalities and injuries. Authorities confirmed the accident and provided immediate assistance to the injured personnel.
Major road accident in Janjgir Champa
In another tragic incident on Wednesday, an uncontrolled bus struck two motorcycles in Pamgarh, Janjgir Champa district, resulting in the deaths of four individuals. The speeding bus first hit one bike rider and then another, causing severe damage and loss of life. Among the deceased were a couple and a young man.
Previous incident: Bus fire near Abhanpur
On June 1, a private passenger bus caught fire near Abhanpur, Chhattisgarh, while en route from Jagdalpur to Raipur. The fire broke out near Mohan Dhaba, about 3 km from the Abhanpur police station area. Fortunately, locals managed to evacuate all 40 passengers safely before the fire engulfed the vehicle.
