Hinge, Founder and CEO, Justin McLeod while talking to leading tech giant revealed how he started the setup involving few of his friends before rolling it out to major cities in US.
McLeod while talking Hinge tell, "We have always grown through the social networks of our users so we watch where people are trying to sign up and London, Toronto and Sydney were some of the biggest markets."
Accepting the potential threat from Tinder, a popular dating app around the globe - McLeod believes his app is far different from this usual hook-up app.
He explains that at first users will not be able to approach and see probable dating suitors, unless their middlemen (their Facebook connection) aren't also using the app.

After 35,500 dates a week & almost 1,500 relationships being formed, Hinges' makers have dreamed to make it bigger, "We want to become the Facebook of dating," he admits.
