Urvashi Rautela dresses up as Anushka Sharma from Sui Dhaaga
Undoubtedly Anushka Sharma’s desi look from her upcoming Bollywood flick Sui Dhaaga-Made In India has broken the internet. From hilarious memes to praises, netizens can’t stop talking about it. Anushka has also worked really hard to step into the shoes of her character of Mamta and ace the perfect body language required to pull off the role. While people are already trying to ace the same look, another Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela also tried her hands on the same and netizens weren’t quite impressed.
Urvashi, who rose to fame with Singh Saab The Great, shared a picture on her social media in which she is seen wearing a saree in the same way as Anushka Sharma in Sui Dhaaga and says that she is wearing the maximum makeup, almost 10 shades darker than her original skin tone. While Urvashi felt really good to flaunt the look, netizens weren’t quite impressed with her and even said that she looks scary in the post.

On the other hand, makers of Sui Dhaaga shared a video that shows how hard Anushka Sharma has worked on her body language and aced the art of draping the saree in order to get into the skin of her character. We can say she nailed it as going by the trailer, Anushka looks extremely comfortable in a saree while doing hectic daily household duties as well as the demanding handicraft work.
In the video, Anushka Sharma reveals, “You are not used to obviously wearing a saree, unless for events or something. Mamta is someone who wears saree every single day, that is what she wears. I had to be so comfortable doing jhadu is a saree, cooking in a saree, climbing up and down the stairs in a saree and looking really easy while doing it. I had to be at ease.”
