The first day of 2018 came with a big surprise for Shah Rukh Khan fans as the superstar unveiled the much-awaited title of his forthcoming movie. Before the announcement, there were lot of buzz about the title of the film helmed by Aanand L Rai. SRK announced the title and revealed his first look in complete Baadshah style. Soon after his tweet, fans went berserk and #2Zero18 became Twitter's top trend.
There were couple of speculative titles doing the rounds on social media such as Katrina Meri Jaan, Batla, Bauaa, etc. However, there was one ardent SRK fan who guessed it correctly. A week before the official announcement, a Twitter user @its_jatin17 tweeted, ''Title is #Zero" on December 25, 2017. Replying to a query by another user, he wrote, ''Rce ne zero register kiya tha so yeh title ke chance sabse zyada h.''
Fans are waiting for Zero with bated breath as this film is expected to pull out Baadshah Khan from lean phase. It has chances of being the blockbuster SRK needs after Chennai Express. Besides the actor, Zero also features Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. The flick is slated to release on 21st December 2018.
On a related note, the introductory tweet of Shah Rukh revealing the title received a lot of flak as many accused him of copying the line without due credit. Friends of the writer, Mithelesh Baria tried to bring attention of SRK to the fact that line belongs to a published work of 2015.
