Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra and husband Nick Jonas took to their Instagram to remember Civil rights Leader Martin Luther King on MLK Day 2019. Taking to Instagram, American singer Nick Jonas expressed his heartfelt gratitude and thanked the legendary man for trying to make the world a better place. Nick shared a picture of Martin Luther King Jr. and wrote, ““Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?”- Thank you Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for your vision, your leadership and your belief in all of our ability to make the world a better place. You are missed.”

On the other hand, Nick’s gorgeous wife and Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra Jonas also took to her Instagram stories and offered her Thank you to the leader. She also shared a video of him speaking infront of an audience and wrote, ‘Thank You, Dr. King. The world is eternally greatful’. Check out her stories here-

Other than the celebrities, search giant Google also remembered Martin Luther King Jr. on MLK Day with a Doodle. On their twitter handle, Google Doodle wrote, “"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." —Martin Luther King Jr. Huge thanks to guest artist @carefulblackgrl for helping us honor the civil rights leader on #MLKDay” Google also shared a blog on the legend which traces the work and initiatives he had taken to achieve a better world.

The blog post read, “I have decided to stick with love,” said Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in 1967. “Hate is too great a burden to bear.” Speaking at the Southern Christian Leadership Conference’s annual convention, the Nobel Prize-winning civil rights leader affirmed an idea set forth in his 1963 book, Strength to Love: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

The blog concludes saying, “Today’s Doodle by guest artist, Xia Gordon, depicts Dr. King at his writing desk as he wrestles with his ideas, perhaps contemplating how he might help to form a more unified society. To this day, Dr. King’s example continues to light the way forward, with love.”
