As Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot Abhinandan Varthaman returns home after spending over 60 hours in the neighboring country Pakistan, citizens can’t stop talking about his bravery and valor. His video that went viral on the internet in which he was seen putting a confident personality in front of the Pakistani officers has garnered him much respect and admirations. Since he has returned back in his home country, people are busy celebrating and this has given many brands a chance to sell their products in the name of their brave soldier. Popular food brand Pizza Hut in order to pay its tribute to Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman’s bravery has offered to give free pizzas to people to who share the same name as him.
Taking to their Facebook, the food joint wrote, “Pizza Hut would like to take this moment to thank the Bravehearts of the nation. Not everyone can do what you do! In honour of Wing Commander Abhinandan, we would like to give away a free pizza to anyone with the same name as this legend! So go ahead & tag the ‘Abhinandan’ in your group! Not just his name, but people have become follower of Abhinandan’s trendy beard and moustache style. Abhinandan's well-groomed facial hair style has become the next big thing in India. The moustache is more of a gunslinger but has become famous by the name ‘Abhinandan’s moustache’.
Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was captured by Pakistan after his MiG-21 Bison fighter plane crashed on the other side of LoC while on a mission on Wednesday. He returned India late on Friday evening, on March 1.
