Most people prefer to go up the Eiffel Tower by taking the elevator.
But two daredevils decided to do it the old fashioned way, climbing it without any ropes or safety equipment.
James Kingston posted a dizzying video of his secret climb of the 300m tall tower under the cover of darkness.
He was accompanied by a partner in crime, Esty Tomas, who carried a Go Pro camera to record the event for posterity.
The duo started their climb at 1 am to escape the attention of the heavily armed security patrol and managed to reach the top without being spotted.
But when they decided to unlock the door and get inside, they were spotted.
Kingston and Tomas hid inside the tower before surrendering next morning.
They were handcuffed and questioned for six hours but eventually released without charge.
However, they had to promise not to climb it again for three years!
This is not the first time Kingston, who hails from Southampton in the UK, hit the headlines.
He also climbed the arch of London's iconic Wembley Stadium earlier this year.
