When Australia stood up for the entire Muslin community in humanity's tough time.

In a unique show of solidarity, Australians have vowed to stand by their Fellow Muslim brethrens, who are under the fear of hate crime in the aftermath of Martin place siege.

The #illridewithyou hashtag amassed more than 120,000 tweets on Monday evening leaving the #sydneyseige behind, as Australians wanted to reassure the Muslim community that nobody is judging them and that we all stand together.

Rachael Jacobs, apparently inspired this campaign after posting a moving facebook status about her encounter with a Muslim woman, who removed her hijab  in order not to grab attention.

Jacobs ran to her to put her hijab back and reassured her that i will walk with you. This campaign was widely appreciated on social media and everybody contributed to this through their thoughts.

This inspired a slew of social media users to vouch and stand for the people who are even more terrified after the yesterday's attack.

"It is hard to feel hope when you feel helpless. #illridewithyou is a small act, but might be important for someone one day," Ms Kum told Fairfax Media.

"My thoughts are with those involved, who will be affected for so long to come, and those uninvolved, who are being blamed none the less."

Australians have shown the true meaning of a flourishing democracy where religion must not be targeted for the misdeeds of some lunatics.

The campaign reaffirms the words of Australian PM Tony Abott ‘s Statement during his Monday press conference.

"Australia is a peaceful, open and generous society. Nothing should ever change that," he said.
