The annual high staked battle of Super Bowl Commercials witnessed intense heat likewise the annual championship game of the National Football League.

Catering to a diverse crowd, these commercials had everything from slapstick humor to the emotionally poignant.

But out of the lot, “Lost Dog” by Budweiser emerged as the best ad commercial of 2015, whereas “Make Some Noise” from Lexus topped the list of worst advertisements of Super Bowl XLIX!

Companies paid up to a whopping sum of $4.5 million for 30 seconds to air their commercials during the championship game on Comcast's NBC network. The match was seen by estimated 100 million-plus viewers, the year's biggest television audience.

Brands employed inspiring themes such as the celebration of dads and tackled somber social issues in their bids to grab attention among more than 70 commercials.

But it was Budweiser's cuteness theme beautifully showcased with ‘return of the puppy' that grabbed the maximum eye balls.

The commercial was watched nearly 42 million times ahead of the game and topped rankings by iSpot, which tracks online views and social media chatter.

Amid 70 tough competitors, Coke stood out with an anti-bullying message, which has even got laurels from the advertising experts.

The commercial showcases mean messages sent through texts or social media that were changed to positive missives once a bottle of Coke spilled into the wiring of servers.

There were 15 first-time brands advertising this year -- the most since 2000, including candy brand Skittles.
