New Delhi: A CCTV camera has captured an incident of assault on an Uzbek citizen in the national capital. The disgusting case happened on August 19, 2015 around 10 PM, in South Delhi's Malviya Nagar area.

But, unlike other such cases, this episode witnessed the brave side of the Delhiwalas.

The footage shows the young boys of a football team, calling themselves the Malviya Nagar Maniacs (MNM), rushing out of a park to rescue a foreigner under attack.

Here is what happened exactly:

In the captured tape, a man is seen stalking the foreign national, who was walking down the road while talking on the phone.

After a few minutes, the guy tried to snatch her phone and assaulted her when she fought back.

Hearing her screams, the kids from a local football team, who were playing in the ground nearby, came running to help her.

"We were playing in the park when we heard a scream. We rushed towards the sound. We saw a foreigner, who was all teary, and then a man running towards Apeejay School. We sensed something was wrong," said Sarthak Sharma, a class XII student of LBS School R K Puram.

They started chasing the guys. And after a few minutes they caught him near a school, hiding behind a car. The boys then beat him up a little and hauled him back to the spot of the incident.

And that is how they saved the day for her. Watch the video here:

However, this episode has threatened the girl to the core and she wants to leave India and head back to her country as soon as possible.
