What's the bottom line of a human's right? A young girl in Palestine has been put behind bars for a crime that will leave you shocked!
A 14-year-old Palestinian girl has been tried before an Israeli military court and her only crime is that she pelted stones on the cars passing across borders.
And as fate would have it, she has been put behind bars for 2 months, exposing the excessive measures of treatment in Israel against stone-pelting youth.
A young beautiful child, Malak al-Khatib wouldn't have ever thought that an innocent play of act in her teens would leave a scarring memory over her life.
"A 14-year-old girl won't pose any threat to soldiers' lives," cried her father, Ali al-Khatib, who tried explaining that her daughter wasn't a threat to any of those well quipped and trained soldiers who were in those cars.
Malak was earlier charged with stone-throwing, attempted stone-throwing and possession of a knife with some serious sentencing, but under a plea bargain she was let off with 2-months in prison and a $1,500 fine.
She has until now spent almost 4 weeks in prison and has another 4 weeks left until she is out from a central Israeli prison for women.
In this war of in-humanity between Israel & Palestinian, the younger generation is being pushed towards doomed future.
