Border Anthem is a musical tribute to India and Pakistan, two nations born amidst the chaos of partition with scars that are yet to be healed.
It is a collaboration between Indian-American opera singer Zeshan Bagewadi and Pakistani-America photojournalist/filmmaker Nushmia Khan to commemorate the independence days of both the nations.
The video fabulously juxtaposes national anthems of both the countries, remembering the triumphs, struggles, challenges, and celebrations they have faced.
The video touches the emotional cord of the viewers and beautifully captures the commonality between the two nations. Besides it has a profound message to deliver that we may be separated by the artificial borders but our culture, our legacy, our history are same.
Our taste for music, our love for cricket, our love for films is similar. It intends to strengthen the inextricable bond between India and Pakistan and bring them closer together!
