Who says beauty with brains is an impossible occurrence? Pankhuri Gidwani from Lucknow has proved everyone wrong. On May 29th, ISC Class 12 Board Results were declared and it brought a lot of joys for the budding beauty. The Miss India 2016, Pankhuri bagged an impressive score of 97.25% in her board examinations. Although, she was supposed to appear for her Class 12 examinations last year, but due to Miss India pageant, she had to give them a miss. But this year, the gorgeous girl got back to her studies and that too with a bang!
Pankhuri is a student of La Martiniere Girls College, Lucknow and appeared for ISC Class 12 board examinations this year. She scored a whopping 97.25% which came as a shocker for many people out there. She took to Facebook to express her joy on her new achievement. She wrote:
” 97.25 it is.So there is something I would like all my friends and followers to know I had missed my board examinations for participating in Miss India(at 18) and after winning Miss India 2nd Runners Up I had to train for Miss Grand International and received the 25th position out of 80 countries.”
The young beauty also confessed how she found it difficult to adjust in her studies after a break of a year. She says, ““After coming back from the pageant, I battled a number of hard situations, one of them getting adjusted to studying again after a year of glamour.I put my all into it, and this is the result i came forth with,”.
She also sends out a message to everyone that nothing is impossible if done with grit determination and a heart to pursue it. Her father, who was more than just proud of her baby girl’s double achievement, told Hindustan Times that she scored 99 in History and she was planning to pursue her career in mass media from Mumbai.
