New Delhi: We live in a strange world and some incidents keep reminding us that it is not going to change any time soon. In a bizarre happening in Istanbul, a man shot his friend dead at a restaurant after the latter paid their food bill.
As reported by The Telegraph, Mr Alakuş was in a restaurant when Mr Erdemir entered with two friends. Mr Erdemir was invited by Mr Alakuş to join him and his friend, Savcı Karabulut.

In a hurry to leave the eatery, Mr Alakuş asked for the bill only to be informed that Mr Erdemir had paid it. This led to a heated argument and Mr Alakuş left the restaurant infuriated.
According to eye witnesses, he returned with a gun and shot Mr Erdemir and his two friends. The three were rushed to the hospital where Mr Erdemir breathed his last due to severe injury. His other friends were not in life threatening situation and are out of danger now.
Video clips of Alakuş shooting Mr Erdemir have been showed in Turkish media and social media.
Learning this incident we can only pray that sanity prevails in the world and people stopped doing stupid things out of rage. Only if Alakuş understood the worth of a life!
