This video is not for faint hearted as it shows a live spider crawling out of a woman’s ear. The woman sought medical help, complaining aggravating headache in Southern India, according to SWNS TV, who later uploaded the video footage on YouTube. In the video, the creepy crawly was seen coming out of the ear during an inspection at Columbia Asia Hospital in Hebbal. The woman was identified as Lekshmi L. She was sleeping in her veranda in Karnataka, when she experience excruciating pain in her head and a tingling sensation in her ear.
Her husband immediately took her to hospital, where the doctors took a look inside her ear. They confirmed spotting a spider inside her ear. The woman could feel the spider moving inside her ear. According to The Sun, the woman said, ““I couldn’t think of anything and was petrified when the doctor confirmed the presence of a spider in my ear.”
Dr. Santosh Shivaswamy at Columbia Asia Hospital explained that there’s a difference between taking a substance from an ear canal and to remove a living creature from it, especially when the patient knows exactly what it is. The patient’s anxiety makes it difficult to carry out the procedure. Fortunately, the eight-legged organism have been taken out successfully. But there are other instances, where the victim wasn’t that lucky.
A similar case came out in 2015, when a spider made its web inside a woman’s ear in China. When the doctor tried to remove it, it responded furiously which cause even more paint to the patient.
