Anything apart from heat wave that’s making headline is the ‘Baahubali Wave’. Even the animal kingdom is not spared the fanaticism. We’ve witnessed everything bizarre that has been related to Baahubali, from sarees to burgers. But an animal named after the Rajamouli Magnum Opus is something novel for the fans.
According to a report, a cub born in Nandankanan Zoological Park in the outskirts of Odisha’s state capital has been named ‘Baahubali’. The off-beat name of the cub has been suggested by the tourists who were awestruck by the movie already.
The cub was named ‘Baahubali’ in the presence of Odisha’s Forest and Environment Minister Bijayshree Routray on Wednesday. A total of seven tiger cubs were born at Nandankanan Zoological Park, six of which are named Kundan, Adyasha, Sahil, Vicky, Sinu and Mousumi. The seventh one had the fortune to be named so uniquely.
