A biker in Mumbai suburb of Vasai assaults a Mumbai traffic policeman for doing what he was assigned to do. The policeman stopped the man for breaking traffic rules. The video showing the biker assaulting traffic policeman has gone viral on internet. The incident took place on Monday. In the 15-seconds video the accused is seen slapping the policeman twice during a heated argument.

The biker was on his two-wheeler with his wife and a kid when constable Kalu Vitthal Munde stopped for breaking a traffic signal at the Parvati Cross Area in Vasai. To this, the accused started arguing with the policeman, but when he didn’t agree, the biker lost his calm and slapped the policeman twice during the argument. Several bystanders saw the happenings.
The accused biker was later taken to Manikpur Police Station after the locals overpowered him.
"We have registered a case under section 186 (Obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions) against him and released him after warning him," Anil Patil, senior inspector, Manikpur Police Station told Mid-Day.
