Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will present the Budget for 2018-19 on Friday, an official said on Monday.
The month-long Budget Session of the Himachal Pradesh legislative assembly will begin on Tuesday and will have 17 sittings, the official told IANS.
This will be Thakur's maiden budget.
The session, which will end on April 5, would have two private members' days on March 8 and March 30.
There would be a recess of nine days from March 17 to enable the House committees scrutinise the Budget.
In the 68-member House, the ruling BJP has 44 members, while the Congress has 21. There are two Independent member and the CPI-M has one.
