Passengers of IndiGo airline were stranded at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Sunday after the flight’s systems went down following a technical error. According to a statement by IndiGo, the system failure lasted for nearly ninety minutes.
Following the incident, the airline tweeted an advisory and confirmed the systems were down at all airports for a while.
The airline further requested its passengers to contact it through its official website, the contact number, Twitter, or Facebook.
Posting an apology for the inconvenience caused to passengers, IndiGo further confirmed the systems had resumed operation.
“We regret the inconvenience caused to our passengers this afternoon due to system being down across airports for around ninety minutes. Our flights and check-in systems are operating normally now,” said the airline.
