As many as 5,000 unsold flats of the debt-ridden realty firm Amrapali, have been seized in Noida and Greater Noida, authorities informed Supreme Court and state-run NBCC, according to a report in Hindustan.
Earlier on October 4, NBCC CMD Anoop Kumar Mittal had said that the state-owned company will float tenders in the next 15 days to appoint contractors for construction of stalled housing projects of Amrapali.
The Supreme Court had appointed NBCC to develop the stalled projects of the Amrapali group and directed the debt recovery tribunal (DRT) to sell unencumbered commercial properties of the firm to recover money.
