New Delhi: To give it users a better online viewing experience, YouTube has started testing a new feature called multi-angle videos, in which the viewer can jump back and forth between a handful of different cameras.

On clicking a video a series of thumbnails pop up on the right, out of which a user can anyone and the video starts playing from the particular angle selected, and the thumbnails disappear.

You can also control the camera angle using either your keyboard or mouse, though it is not working on mobile just yet.

These multi-angle videos are only an experiment right now and there's only one video that actually showcases this feature so far. The feature is expected to be tested in other parts of the world as well. The company recently uploaded a live performance of Madilyn Bailey and allowed users to experience the new feature.

Well, this may mean a lot of production work for the film-makers, but for viewers it could be a delight.
