New Delhi: Xolo has launched is new budget smartphone, the Q700 Club, at Rs 6,999. However, there is no word on its official availability.
The highlight of the device is its front dual speakers. The device also offers free unlimited music and video downloads for 3 months on pre-installed Hungama Music app. It also comes with IP55 certification for protection against dust and water.
Xolo Q700 Club is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device that features a 4.5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display with a pixel density of 218ppi. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and Mali-400 MP2 GPU. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box.
It offers 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
The handset sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also on board. The Xolo Q700 Club rear camera features scene detection, face recognition, Panorama, geo tagging, best shot, Smile shot, and HDR options. It also features sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. The device is fueled by a 2000mAh battery, which according to the official listing is rated to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time, and up to 550 hours of standby time on 3G networks. It measures 134.6x67x10.8mm and is listed in Black colour.
