New Delhi: Xolo has launched the Opus HD smartphone, at Rs 9,499. Though the phone is now listed on company's site, there are no availability details of the device.
It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone that features a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD IPS display and offers a pixel density of 294ppi. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Broadcom (BCM23550) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and Videocore IV GPU. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box.
The Xolo Opus HD comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
For the imaging purpose, the handset sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and also has a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera features scene detection, face recognition, Panorama, geo tagging, Best shot, Smile shot, and HDR options.
Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. The device is fueled by a 2500mAh battery, which according to the official listing is rated to deliver up to 28 hours of talk time and up to 600 hours of standby time on 2G networks.
