New Delhi, May 5: After the successful launch of a few quad-core powered smartphones, Wickedleak has now come out with its very first quad-core powered tablet which it calls the Wammy Desire Tab 2. The tablet offers the users the option to run it on Android 4.0 or Android 4.2 (beta) out of the box. The device is priced at Rs. 9999.
Wammy Desire Tab 2 is powered by a 1.4GHz Quad-core Samsung Exynos processor having 1GB of RAM. It is a 7-inch tablet that offers a spectacular1280x800 IPS HD resolution at a 210ppi. The tablet will be available with 8GB of storage option, expandable by another 32GB through a microSD card. It sports a front camera of 0.3 MP and a rear camera of 2MP. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 3G(external), Bluetooth, USB and GPS.
With a quad core Exynos 4 processor, the tablet competes against the likes of the Acer Iconia A1 and the Zync Quad 8.0. The tablet at the moment is offered in white colored option only.
The Wammy Desire Tab 2 is up for pre-order in India with the company saying the first stock will arrive on May 15.
The tablet launch comes after the popular launches of Wammy Titan 2, and WammyPassion ‘Y' HD Smartphones.
