Volkswagen has launched a special variant of its popular model VW Vento dubbed as Magnific. This new limited-edition model will be available in only two trims: Comfortline and Highline.
The model will be available in both petrol and diesel variants and in the price range of Rs 8.57 lakh to Rs 10.42 lakh, price (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Highline trim gets a C infotainment system with front and rear display units and 3G internet connectivity while the new VW Vento Magnific Comfortline receives alloy wheels, Garmin navigation device and scuff plates along with Vento Magnific badging.
Under the hood, there are no changes. The car continues to carry high performance and efficient 1.5 litre diesel engine and a 1.2 litre TSI petrol engine. It comes in both 5 speed manual and 7 speed DSG automatic transmission gearbox, thus giving the consumer a myriad of options.
As with the regular Vento, the Special Edition Vento Magnific also gets dual front airbags, dual-beam headlamps and flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel as standard fitment, the company said in a statement.
German automaker described Vento Magnific as a complete entertainment package with multimedia consoles on the dashboard and the rear seats. It connects one with TV, social media, games, maps and more. Customers can also opt for a standard infotainment system and avail for benefits worth Rs 45,000 on the Highline variant and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 on both the trims.
