New Delhi: Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu will today inaugurate and address the 'Smart City Expo World Congress', in Barcelona on the invitation of city Mayor Xavier Trias.
Naidu who Monday traveled to Barcelona will study aspects of the 'Smart cities' project, which is being attended by many countries including Japan, Germany, Israel, the United States and the United Kingdom.
Naidu is also scheduled to hold talks with senior officials of the World Bank in the context of the 'Smart Cities' project.
While on his three days trip to Spain, he will also hold discussions with senior officials of the Japanese cities Kyoto, Yokohama and Fukoka.
