New Delhi: Tata Docomo has tied up with mobile messaging app WhatsApp to launch two unlimited data packs for its pre-paid GSM customers.
The two packs, valid for 15 and 30 days, have been targeted at price sensitive pre-paid customers who want to use WhatsApp for communication but don't want to shell out money on data usage. The two packs have been priced at Rs 15 and Rs 30.
The customised packs have been offered after conducting a user research. Thus, the data packs let you pay only for the applications you consume.
"Standing tall on the fundamental tenet of simplifying consumer's life, dedicated WhatsApp data packs serves up a hassle-free experience for our consumers with a clear focus on enriching the data experience," said Tata Docomo Head VAS Marketing Rishimohan Malhotra said.
While at international level, WhatsApp has over 300 million users, in India it only has 30 million monthly active users.
