New Delhi: Micromax's latest mid-range phablet, the A114 Canvas 2.2, is now available at an online retailer Flipkart at Rs. 12,999. The phone is expected to go official this week.
The Micromax 114 Canvas 2.2 is a dual-SIM phone (GSM+GSM) with support for micro-SIM cards instead of regular SIM size.
It features a 5-inch qHD IPS display with a 540x960 pixels resolution. The phablet is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor along with 1GB of RAM. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box.
The smartphone has an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera accompanied by a flash as well as a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear-facing camera is capable of recording videos in Full HD 1080p format.
The device gets its juice from a 2,000mAh Li-Ion battery which the company claims can offer up to 7 hours of talk time (2G).
Other highlights of the phone include: 3G, Dual SIM (also supports micro SIM), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and FM Radio, among others. The device measures 9.7mm in terms of thickness and weighs 147grams.
