New Delhi: Idea Cellular has launched the Aurus 4, a 3G device that has already been listed on the official store, at Rs 8,999.
The phone comes with a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480×854 pixels. It has a primary camera of 5-megapixel snapper along with a secondary VGA shooter fitted on the front side for selfies and video calling.
Idea's Aurus 4 is powered by a 1.3GHz Dual-Core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. The smartphone has 4GB of onboard storage to offer that can be expanded externally upto 32GB via a microSD card. It runs on Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. The smartphone offers 1,800 mAh battery which the company claims to give 392 hours of standby time and up to 4 hours of talk time on 3G.
The device which is compatible with both 2G and 3G networks has a built-in Wi-Fi support for wireless internet via a hotspot. It comes with dual SIM card slots and claims to deliver the juice for talk time of about 4 hours in the 3G mode. The other features of the handset include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), and GPS amongst others.
The company says the phone will appeal to those users who want a feature rich phone at affordable prices.
