LG Spirit / Magna
LG has comes out with new "premium, mid-range" smartphones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The LG Spirit and Magna are two mid-range Android handsets that boast distinguishing curved screens. These handsets borrow the design language of the LG G2 Flex.
The Magna, the Spirit and its two younger siblings, the Leon and the Joy will all come in LTE and 3G versions -- depending on region -- and come running the latest version of Android, 5.0 Lollipop. Their screens measure 5 inches, 4.7 inches, 4.5 inches and 4 inches respectively.
All the new smartphones will be available in 3G and 4G models with the difference on the design front being either a plastic patterned or metallic rear cover. Three have a Rear Key like the current LG G3 meaning the power and volume buttons are located on the back below the camera lens.
The two larger phones incorporate the same 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, and sport 8-megapixel cameras on the front and 1-megapixel cameras on the back. The primary differences between the two is that the Magna has a bigger 2,540mAh battery and the Spirit has a sharper screen (boasting 312ppi to the Magna's 249ppi).
