Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Pay
In its latest Galaxy range, Apple ditched its plastic casings and adopted a sleeker glass and metal fitting. The S6 looks a lot like the iPhone 6 and packs 64-bit computing under the hood and has the ability to use it as a mobile wallet thanks to Samsung Pay, the Korean firm's answer to Apple Pay. The rear 16-megapixel camera now has optical stabilisation, it's the front camera that Samsung has pimped up with a 5-megapixel f1.9 lens. The phone's other noteworthy features include an updated fingerprint sensor that no longer requires the swiping motion and an infrared heart-rate monitor. Samsung also released a novelty version called the S6 Edge, but that's a sideshow.
