BMW X1
The BMW X1 is BMW's compact SUV model, which is being offered at Rs. 22.40 lakhs (ex-Delhi) for the sDrive18i variant. The SUV is powered by 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines that produce 150 BHP, 200 Nm and 177 BHP, 350 Nm respectively. Certainly it is not a full-sized SUV vehicle, but it looks elegant from the outside. Large attractive headlights, sharp kidney-shaped grille, lean sculpted flanks, a long sculpted bonnet and a good-looking rear, makes it a solid and sturdy car to own and drive in the city. On the inside, it combines the best of sedan design and SUV storage. Then inside ambiance can be made adaptable: auto air-con and auto air recirculation, plus fogging, solar sensors, micro-filters and other digital additions mean that you can set the temperature and brightness within the cabin easily. BMW X1 is available with 2 engine options: diesel and petrol, the 1995cc, 4 Cylinders petrol engine generates maximum power of 150 bhp with maximum torque of 200 nm. It comes with a host of safety features like multiple airbags, crash sensors, Electronic Vehicle Immobilization, seatbelts, a warning triangle, first aid kit, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC).
