Renault DusterThe Renault Duster is a car that borders between an overgrown hatch and a full blown SUV. It is a perfect car that is big enough to satisfy your ego and small enough to fit into a parking spot in front on your house. The front of the car houses double barrel headlamps with a large chrome grille. The sides have prominent and muscular wheel arches with 16-inch alloy wheels. The car gets its SUV attitude through roof rails and side steps enhance. The SUV is muscular to the rear. The tail lamp cluster is simple yet elegant and is complemented by bulging surrounds on the boot. The vehicle's name is boldly inscribed with chrome plating. On the inside, Duster offers plenty of room for four, even for five if those in the backseat are willing to snuggle up. It offers high driving position with a whopping 475 litres of boot volume. The Duster is available in three engine options. The 1.6-litre petrol engine which delivers 104 PS at 5850rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 3750rpm. Two variants of the 1.5 dCi K9K diesel engine are also available — one developing 85PS and the other, 110PS. The Duster weighs less than 1300kg, making it quite agile over challenging conditions. Renault claims the petrol Duster offers a mileage of 13.4 kmpl and the 85PS, 110PS diesels return 20.45 kmpl and 19.01 kmpl respectively. The car also does well on performance, handling, ground clearance and offering value for money.
