New Delhi, Jan 9: Tata Motors shares surged over 4.47 per cent on Wednesday on the back of multiple upgrades by global brokerages.
At 10:54 am, the stock surged by 4.47 per cent to trade at 328.20 on the BSE, against a 1.57 per cent gain in the BSE Auto index.
Tata Motors, which was the biggest blue chip gainer in 2012, had received an upgrade by Credit Suisse and CLSA.
While Credit Suisse has upgraded the stock to "outperform" from "underweight," CLSA has upgraded it from "buy" to "outperform" with a price target of Rs. 385.
